How to Measure Your Product for the Perfect FitUpdated 3 months ago

Getting your box size right is key to making your packaging feel polished, functional, and cost-effective. Here's how to do it:

Start by measuring your product in millimetres (mm), focusing on the internal space needed to fit your item comfortably:

  • Length (L) = Left to right (when the box is open)

  • Width (W) = Front to back (from the opening)

  • Height (H) = Bottom to top

We recommend adding a small buffer — around 2–5mm — to each side to ensure your product fits easily and allows for any protective wrapping or fill.

All product sizes listed on our website are external dimensions, but you can download the associated template to view the internal sizing and layout. We offer a wide range of standard sizes designed to suit common product types — making ordering faster and more cost-effective.

If you’re creating a custom size, start by measuring your product’s internal dimensions first, then adjust to account for external box measurements. Not sure? You can always order an unprinted sample or reach out to our team — we’ll help guide you to the right fit.
