Rigid packaging is produced using a different process to our standard mailer boxes and cardboard formats. This allows for sharper print detail, premium finishes, and more precise colour control — perfect for high-end or design-led packaging.
If you're ordering custom rigid boxes, the guidelines below apply.
What you can expect:
Pantone (PMS) colours can be matched accurately
Just supply the code when submitting artworkText can remain sharp and ultra-fine
We can print intricate linework, serif fonts and thin weights with precisionSolid black areas print deep and rich
You can use either rich black or full black tones, depending on the material finishPhotographic and high-resolution imagery is supported
Just ensure your file is saved at 300dpi and CMYK format
Recommended file setup:
Supply artwork as a PDF with all fonts outlined
Use CMYK or Pantone colour values as required
Ensure all images are embedded (not linked)
Include 5mm bleed on all sides
Clearly label all versions or variations (if multiple SKUs)
