To avoid cut-off logos, text or key graphics, keep all important elements at least 5mm away from any cut or fold lines on your template.

These safety margins ensure your design remains centred and visually balanced, even with slight movement during production.

Minimum clear space around key design elements:

1. Keep logos, text, and icons 5mm inside the red cut lines

2. Avoid placing critical artwork near the green crease lines (fold areas)

3. If your design runs close to the edge, ensure it’s decorative or background-only

During cutting and folding, machines can shift by up to 5mm — especially on short runs or recycled stocks. Leaving this space helps ensure a professional result with no unwanted trims.
