To ensure your final print is clean and high-resolution, use vector graphics wherever possible. Vectors are crisp and scale without quality loss — ideal for logos, icons, and text.
If your design includes photographs or raster imagery, image quality matters. Low-resolution files may appear blurry, pixelated, or uneven when printed.
Best practices for image-based designs:
Use high-resolution images — minimum 300dpi
Avoid images saved at screen resolution (72dpi or 150dpi)
Don’t use heavily compressed JPEG files — opt for TIFF or PNG formats where possible
Ensure photos are embedded in your file (not linked)
Avoid stretching low-res images to fill large areas
If your artwork includes gradients, shadows or photographic textures, consider ordering a sample to test how it prints.
Not sure if your image is sharp enough? Send it through and we’ll check it before production.
